6 Cruelty-Free Beauty Products On Our Radar

It’s easy to go and stock up on every possible product at the drugstore. But have you ever stopped to look at the label?

Yes, I’m talking about the long list of words at the back. Have you? If the answer is no, you should. Many products these days are filled with parabens, sulfates, unnatural fragrances, and so many other things our body could do without. They’re also most likely tested on animals.

Not to say you need to throw out everything you currently own for the body department; do your research and decide what’s worth it. In the list below, you'll find 6 natural products, that you can purchase that aren't harmful to your body. Get ready to kickstart your all-natural, cruelty-free life!

1. Yes To Grapefruit Rejuvenating Facial Wipes

These wipes have become my all-time favourite. They’re 95% natural, and heir smell is intoxicating and comes from actual grapefruits! To use them, pull one off of the pack and wipe it across your face to see all the accumulated dirt! Gross, right? But definitely satisfying!

2. EOS Shaving Cream

EOS is notorious for their lip balms, but their shaving creams deserve all the rave too! They come in three scents, mine being ‘’Vanilla Bliss’’. Use it wet OR dry and the results are the same! It’s also paraben-free and cruelty-free. This shaving cream is everything you could want.

3. Flower Nail Polish in “Make My Daylily’’

I love Drew Barrymore, and when I found she had a makeup line (At Walmart, I might add) I flipped out! It’s called Flower and is just a great as any makeup line, but natural! This polish is nude, basic and will allow you to wear anything with! The perfect festival polish!

4. Batiste Dry Shampoo in “Original’’

On these hot days, you want to try to stay as cool as possible, and washing your hair takes you double the amount of shower time. Try the Batiste Dry Shampoo! Just spray a bit to the roots of your hair, rub it in, and you’re good to go! This product is cruelty-free, and leaves NO residue!

5. LUSH Bath Bomb in “Twilight’’

Could it really be natural/cruelty-free list without LUSH? This company is bomb, like their bath bombs. The Twilight bath bomb, is a crowd favourite and it’s obvious why. It smells of lavender, and the engraved moons and stars on the bomb, stays true to the name. The scent is strong, but for all the right reasons. To get the full scoop on LUSH, check out last month’s post about it.

6. Lip Glosserie Lipbalm in “Light Asian Pear”

Anything that smells like fruit, I’m down for. Especially if it smells like the actual fruit and not some cross between cleaning products and strawberry candles!

The Light Asian Pear lip balm is one of the company’s best sellers. And I can see why; its scent is heavenly! Lip Glosserie lip balms are moisturizing, made of all-natural ingredients [such as seed butter and essential/flavour oils] and they’re handmade by the owner; from the packaging to the lip balm itself. I had the opportunity to work with Jinny, the entrepreneur behind “Lip Glosserie”. She was very sweet, easy to work with, and I will definitely be purchasing more from her!
