Mimp Mag Recommends Diverse Reads

Books that empower us.

Recently the #FEMPOWERTHON read-a-thon happened (next #FEMPOWERATHON event in October 8th-14th 2017), which was an event, created by Taylor Stanley and Nicole Craswell, with challenges to read as many feminist and diverse books as you could in a week. When I decided to join I realized I didn’t have that many options to read, I had to ask my friends for recommendations which were books that I had already read, I had to do extensive research on booktube (watching many #FEMPOWERATHON to be read lists to get ideas) the mimp mag team came up with some recommendations for each category:
